Purkiss Builders required a complete re-design of their old website and wanted to control the content of the site themselves.  It was also vitally important for their website to be found easily within the search engines, and re-launched their site with a Google Adwords campaign.

Company Info:

The company started in May 1988 by Mr Alan Purkiss and for the first 4 years carried out decoration works only with a staff of four operatives. From 1992 to present day, General Building, Extensions, Internal Refurbishment, Plumbing, Decorating, Fencing and Ground-works form a major part of the workload. In 1998 A Purkiss became a Limited Company. We have continued to develop our Management Team & Site Operatives and can provide the complete building service.

Project Breif:

• Create a web prescence for Purkiss Builders Limited
• Supply the Firestorm CMS for client-side website management for content
• Include a dynamic Gallery Module maintained through the Firestorm CMS
• Include a dynamic News and Testimonials Module maintained through the Firestorm CMS
• Newsletter subscription through the site and then created and distributed via the Firestorm CMS
• Run Search engine campaigns to obtain top listings in Google
• Optimize site for Search Engine spiders and bots
• Host and maintain the site

Result:

The site has a new and up-to-date look with features such as an iTunes style image rotator to display pictures which the client wishes to bring special attention to.

Special attention was taken to make the site as editable by the client as possible.  To that effect over 90% of the site can be controlled through the Firestorm CMS, which has given Purkiss Brother unprecidented control over updating their site as they wish now and in the future.
